Confirmation completes the Sacrament of Baptism & provides us with the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Just like the apostles on the first Pentecost, the candidate for Confirmation receives the Holy Spirit which gives the recipient the strength to follow Jesus & empowers the individual to become involved in the mission of the Church.
